Shell to Mailer?
Shell to mailer option is one that commonly confuses sysops.
Why do it?, What are the advantages and disadvantages?
This option basically, allows you to run RA with the mailer
running from RA as a shell. When a caller human caller comes
in RA will exit the mailer and pass the caller to your board.
This is a faster way to pass users to your board and can in
certain configuration allow a bigger memory allocation to RA,
as there is no swap file being generated but your mailer.
There are however some disadvantages to this meathod.
Certain mailers function better running up front and cause
a varity of problems running 'Shell to Mailer', D'Bridge
is an example of such a mailer.
